Something super is coming...

To be frank there is nothing Super about these new cards, they are just reworked TU106 and TU104 chips with a few more cores enabled and a bit of memory tweaking.

At best they offer a little bit more performance at the same price points as their predecessors which is a small improvement in value for money.

The bottom line is they are still overpriced.

It's still an extremely powerful card. No other card can do approaching RTX 2080 Ti :D

No-one's doubting that man, a solid all-rounder

AMD might have to do a little price tweaking though...

Actually prices are up on the Nvidia UK webpage;

2060-S £379
2070-S £475
2080-S £669.

Knock £120 to £140 off of those prices and the cards would be at their correct price points in the market.

If NVidia had their pricing right the 2080 Ti would be selling for £669.

Thing is 2080ti was selling at 1200. Why would they sell at 700 if they can sell at 1200 ?? How's that good for making profit ?

If people ware not buying them at 1200 prices would have dropped but they did so thats that.

Are they selling many at that price point though?
The Vega 7 is half the price for a little less grunt, it would be interesting to see how many each have sold

Selling enough to not bother dropping prices by looks of it.

i'm waiting for 2080 super

Me too but I don't know if its going to justify the £200 hike.
My 2080 is very near/at 4k gaming for most titles. I'm not sure if the 2080 super with a 10-20% FPS boost will nail 4k.
Also buying a GPU for a semi-acceptable price £<500 just seems a lot more palatable.

RTX 2070 vs 1080ti tho?
