Linux OBS is the way to go, IMO, if you have a discrete gaming / streaming setup.

Looking forward to it. Would like to stick with 32GB, and if I can get 2x16GB from you, I'd be happy.
I've seen some Corsair stuff around, but the timings are naff.
It also needs a new chipset driver which I think was released today. Not sure if the reviewers had early access or not.
Not sure why everything has been so close to the wire, that includes 400 series BIOS updates too which were intentionally held back.

Was there any word on if they actually have 3700X ready to ship tomorrow?
Truck full of Zen is coming to OC HQ tomorrow - apparently.
Which is why AMD really need to push DDR5 as soon as it becomes available, and ensure 1:1 Mem/IF past 5000MHz, it will really show what a IF/chiplet design can achieve.
This 3700x best power through games for a good 3 to 4 years I can't imagine it getting saturated in this time.
I ordered mine from a competitor because I could choose to get it ordered to a pick up point, apparently I should expect it by Tuesday

cause when You spend 400quid+ on cpu itself i think you can afford extra 20 quid on electricity bill.The power consumption is amazing, not enough people talking about that.

PBO overrides the limitations set for the CPUs, hence what I said previously.
XFR2 on the other hand, will have greater room for boosting within warranty.
The 3800X has max power draw of 142w, against 88w for the 3700X.

The 9900K is still the fastest in games but unless you intend to keep it for many years you wouldn't notice the difference over the much cheaper 3700X at 1440p and over for a good while yet so how is the former a no-brainer? I'm happy with my 8700K but these CPUs are fantastic and would be my choice if I were in the market to buy one right now.

The 3900x is a 24 thread part that comes in quite a few watts bellow the 16thread 9900k which is a lot slower in the test ran, thats a significant power/performance delta.
