WHICH RTX SUPER CARD? GIBBO RECOMMENDS ASUS EVO OC CARDS!!!

Are the Supers included in the trade in program?

Well @Gibbo made reference to it here:

There is quite a large range now listed on OcUK, MSI cards were added this morning.

Also Asus have agreed to hold the £379 and £475 launch MSRP for a whole month on their EVO OC cards which simply makes their card best choice out of all brands for following reasons:
- trade in programme
- advanced RMA service with OcUK
- 3yr warranty
- fastest clocks of any MSRP card

Asus totally owned 2060 and 2070 Supers in my opinion as the minimalist design of EVO cards makes them real nice and the cooler looks very capable and they have backplates too. :)

So I would hope so.

Perhaps Gibbo can confirm?

No idea yet let me ask Asus for a response but I can’t see why not.

In short as much as many people hate asus but they support ocuk so well and look after our customers very well and no tax as people out here but much higher levels of service and better quality.

Thanks for the reply.

If Asus aren't covering the Super cards under the trade-in, it'll make it an easy decision for me to stick to my original plan and wait for the 7nm 3000 series! :)

These do not qualify for the trade in programme, I shall try to convince Asus otherwise but no promises.

Here is the list:

Damn was going to be an instant buy if they did the trade in.

Guess I will keep hold of my 1070 for the moment. Upgrade to a 3700x instead :D

It would be unusual for any company to do a deal for any low availablity, high demand card, such as a trade in.

You could get £100 off by buying an AIB 5700xt card soon though instead.

(Slightly tongue in cheek)

Hi there

With the NVIDIA SUPER launch now upon us and having had a chance to look at all card specifications and view photos my recommendation is the Asus EVO OC cards for following reasons:

  • Asus EVO OC at NVIDIA MSRP Until 9th August at OcUK
  • Fastest OC cards at MSRP price
  • Best cooler at MSRP
  • Backplate included
  • All black design for clean looks
  • 3yr Advanced RMA service with OcUK

Can you confirm what you mean by advanced RMA service? Is this different to the ASUS GOLD RMA or whatever it was that was dropped?

Thanks

Was f5ing at 14:00 too, just hope I was in the first batch! Need it to go with new cpu that’s on its way for OCUK - I have nothing currently.

Asus should give a 4yr warranty you are a big premium brand what is another 12months to Asus in reality. They have the most expensive cards £599 it was for the top end 2070 Super!

Apparently quieter than the Founder's Edition one. I'm inclined to believe them, pretty much all reviews of the other models have been very quiet as well, and I think overall the coolers are more than required for the cards' TDP.

Yes EVO is a new cooler from Asus so has quieter fans and a good heatsink design it’s a bit overkill but does job very well and the fact Asus have the fastest cards at the £379 and £475 MRSP’s make them great value as they are quite a bit faster and quieter than the FE cards for same money and far better warranty/service.

The ROG Strix versions are the fastest of any card also pretty much but we’re trying to get Asus to make the price more competitive as I feel if I can get Strix OC model down to around £549 it will sell like crazy as it offers practically 2080 levels of performance!
