Thanks to the power of maths, you don't need to find a recent thread. Find one from several years ago and add that time onto the ages people said then to get the age they are now. It's like magic!

In a creepy voice, "I see old people".
I'm no better, in my 40's but never bothered growing up too much. In fact I just treated myself to a new sportscar that I can hardly get into - ha.
Feel good but any little minor conditions might have had years ago get worse with age. Having an urgent operation recently when one got a lot worse reminded me how unpredictable and short life can be.

50s ,just gone from 4 day weekends to permanent weekend due to redundancy ,got 6 weeks in spain soon then think about doing something ,coastal walking and surfing are keeping me in condition although my daughters body fat scales (on a trip to london last week) tell me i need to tweek my body a little.
feel pretty much as i did at 20 tbh ,but definatly going to try and vastly improve my diet ,im a vegetarian who dosnr like veg much

Interesting results, but not particularly surprising that the largest group of 'enthusiasts' appear to be in their 40s - this age group probably being the first to have grown up at a time when computing first became mainstream.

My first PC at home being a 386 SX 25 - which I switched out for an AMD DX4 100 and upgraded the memory to a massive 4MB which cost £100 at the time!
Think the graphics was an onboard S3 virge chipset...

Looks like the average age is pushing up. I remember using this site as my first forums site back in the 90s. I guess the hardened folk remain here and will do for decades to come.

It's very noticeable. We used to have lots of threads about school, exam results and that sort of thing but you hardly ever see those now.

The demographic here is definitely ageing.
