WHICH RTX SUPER CARD? GIBBO RECOMMENDS ASUS EVO OC CARDS!!!

Really?

Bit cheeky putting ETA tomorrow on the product page when there's already a queue of unknown length. Any prospective buyers would think they will get one in a couple of days.

You've got to, laugh, reccomends an Asus card as THE card to buy and then can't supply any...OCUK as usual a whole lotta hype, but not a whole lotta delivery.

It’s true that it may be the only card that has never been in stock. The majority of us got a very good deal on that card. We have to be patient i guess :(

They pull this garbage all the time, hype a product to a ridiculous level (see Gigabyte Auros 2080ti, which was a total POS, they hyped as 'The GPU Perfected', clearly without even testing it), it's either trash, or they can't supply it if it is any good. And people fall for it time and time again.

That 2080ti I mentioned was an absolute disaster, they'll say anything and promise anything to get you to part with your money, or keep you captive (and not buying elsewhere obv) while they over-promise on vapourware GPU's.

@Gibbo Are you able to clarify on expected deliveries and quantities?

Right now we seem to be seeing like just 2 units per week, Asus are aware of our backorder situation, but they continue to ship such poor volumes, whereas other brands are shipping much larger volumes into the UK.

That's such a shame :(
Unless volumes pick up I'll be looking at a mid-November (read Black Friday) delivery and I'll be back at Uni by then... Was so looking forward to a gaming summer after getting rid of GTX 680 SLI :(

I wouldn't be surprised if they're shipping them slowly because they aren't making the same profits from the £475 pre-orders than they could by shipping them to retailers selling for £540-580...
It's in stock elsewhere for £597.99...

I don't doubt that, but as I'll be keeping this thing for at least 4 years, the 2-year warranty makes me nervous. Every other 3yr card is either out of stock, blower (nope), or at least £40 more expensive.
I'm not complaining (I'm using 680s; been waiting to upgrade since 2016, what's a few more weeks :D) - it's just disappointing that ASUS, knowing they committed to at least 150 cards, are incapable of supplying them any faster than a trickle feed.

well i've got mine overclocked 120mhz and 900 mhz on the memory, so it overclocks well and still silent at 60-65c. If mine blows after 2 years, i'll just upgrade to the next mid range card at the time but chances are if it's not going to go within the first 2 years then it'll last, my 7970 is still going strong in my sons pc.

Hell of a good excuse to pick up a 4080 Ti / RX 7900 XT when the time comes I suppose xD
