livery for most of the shops is over half way there. Someone could make a mint out of this

I agree, and am aware of this. Just do a search on Skyscanner - 20th October to 4th November flying from Manchester. Every direct flight available now is from Virgin at 9k minimum.. was nowhere near that prior to yesterday, so that tells me that they are taking advantage of people's misfortune and ramping up the prices which makes Virgin a bunch of knob heads.
Fortunately for me I see flights from London now for £1500 but they are not direct, just waiting on credit card company for refund and I could actually save some cash out of this mess.
I disagree with both, the prices shot up yesterday after being around the same price for months, coincidence? I think not.
Whilst true, you’ve got to be pretty stupid to book a holiday from Thomas Cook in the last 48 hours. There were a couple on the radio this morning who had and were subsequently upset. The mind boggles.I have been advised that companies are advised to keep trading so as not to unsettle the market but I would think that the markets would be more knowledgeable about the real estate of affairs than anyone. I find that it is immoral that they are being advised to cheat their customers by selling packages they have no hope in fulfilling.
As for planes, they were still landing well after the 2 am announcement.
I'm not sure that's ever actually been proven, the whole cookies stuff. The site has algorithm to adjust prices depending on views for individuals (your cookies), day of the week (higher on the weekend when people look more), the rate of bookings going through, number of seats left, etc.
It's just supply and demand. Not only is not coincidental, but it is also expected. For it not change, that would be strange.

Where are the results of this test?I think someone said this before and I put it to the test.
I've certainly found it makes a difference. 6 months ago, I was booking flights to Australia with QF and there was a huge different (£400-£500) between the flights when I looked in Firefox vs Chrome.I'm not sure that's ever actually been proven, the whole cookies stuff.
I'm sure there was a thread on here with somebody saying about how CEO's need to be paid loads to do a good job. Think it was related to the PM not getting that much. You know he won't though. Greed! Not just Thomas Cook though.

Get me thinking of Les Dawson.........Hahahaha the mother in-law has been "put on lock down" at her hotel in Tunisia because "Tomas cook owe the hotel money"
