How to clean this shower?

It looks as if the chrome has discoloured but it seems to be within the frame.

Is there any way to clean this?

I'll give it a go. The problem is getting it in there. It's kind of closed but clearly not enough to not allow water in.

I'll give it a go. The problem is getting it in there. It's kind of closed but clearly not enough to not allow water in.

i'd cheap bleach from aldi. put it in a spray bottle. dilute with maybe 25% water to make it more runny.

then just spray it everywhere. repeat this spraying process once every hour for 4-6 hours. if it's not gone by then buy a new shower.

you do know it's just bleach right? with some foamy stuff so it clings better

Anything bleach based and something to get in there with. Old toothbrushes are great.

Have you seen the amount of different fans and types? Not quite the same as cleaning something

I wonder if it's the foamy stuff then, as I find it works so much better than bleach.
Maybe that's because I spent more. My brain is telling me it was a good purchase.

Personally I would take it off, assuming you can, clean it up.
Physical removal is better than trying to chemically clean first

Then run a very small bead of clear silicon round the top to stop any chance of moisture ingress.

I'd go with the bleach option too. Its worth trying before you start to dismantle anything.
