Are MalwareBytes & Defender together sufficient as an Anti-Virus protection protocol?

I'm sure it will. I've been using defender only for a few years without any issues.

Thanks, that is what I thought.
I think that Perpetual vigilance and common-sense is probably the best Anti-Virus.

The best AV is yourself, if your not sure don't click on it.

Defender and MBAM will provide enough coverage for most peoples usage.

Curiosity killed the cat and most people lack common sense or there wouldn't be so many scams. Sometimes you have to protect people from themselves.

There is a lot out there that can sneak past common sense unfortunately.
The paid for version of MWB is great and works well along with defender.

I would say they where a perfect combination. I run them both. Malwarebytes portable runs from my key so it means I don't require to install. Gets updated regularly too.

Sometimes reputable sites can infect you from not updating their site software. That was when I started using NoScript.
