Does anyone remember petrol stations selling computer games?

Yes, Mastertronic 1.99 games. They were in local newsagents and petrol stations instead of the usual places. Some amazing games were published, and the Darling brothers launched their own Codemasters (at the time, budget) brand after having games published by Mastertronic.

I remember being able to fill my 50cc from empty to full with about £3. Those were the days.

think it used to cost me around £5 to fill the 13 litre tank on my RD 125 in the late 80's, so that's ~38p a Litre
but i had to also buy 2 stroke oil to put in it as well

I remember my dad driving all the way across town to the Shell garage to fill up his company car for £4.

Amstrad/Schneider and Spectrum games, 1.99 and 2.99 for the newer games, marsport was the biggest pile of old ballix though, paper round money wasted.
