Actual Police State

What about that time when Former Disgraced Minister for Transport Grayling costed the taxpayer £85 million? At least this is a show of democratic protestation, on an issue that is going to cost us trillions anyway if we don't act sooner, every day is another day we haven't mitigated future losses.

£24 million is nothing.

because even the idea of Brexit has cost hundreds of billions in quantitative easing to try and mitigate the disaster, let alone the billions lost in preparation.

The "climate emergency" is made up, you know.
The reason it's made up is to get trillions out of us in extra taxes.
It's literally the opposite of what you think it is.

Brexit presents an excellent opportunity for wealth creation. Why do you think that it's been blocked, lol?
 
Even Merkel said that it would be a disaster for the EU to have a successful state on its border.
The EU is an extension of Germany. Most of our Parliament serves the EU, and hence Germany. Germany doesn't want a successful, self-serving nation on its border. Germany wants to continue sucking the life out of its empire.

For them, it was a good investment, because it only cost them £24 million to make it look like the government didn't support the protests; protest which, if successful, and part of a wider campaign, will earn the government and their clients over a trillion quid over the next decade alone, and give them more power than they have now.

Police state UK, and Brexit, are linked, due to us becoming a police state under EU rule.
If you don't want a police state in this country, then you support Brexit.
If you want to keep, maintain, and increase the police state, then you support the EU over the UK.

The irony is it's usually these sorts crying over austerity because they have no notion of cutting ones cloth accordingly, instead it's The States fault for not providing for them :rolleyes:.

The State has an infantilising effect on people.
"I shall not pick up that piece of litter because it is the government's job."
"I will not work longer hours because I will lose my benefits."

What they don't even understand is that we haven't had a moment of austerity, as we have been borrowing money for years. That's profligacy, not austerity.

I like the young ones the best: "the government gave the old people all the money - now pay my university fees!".
