Has anyone else noticed Amazon's latest scam cunning wheeze, the so called "Add-on item"? Items too small to be worth letting you buy apparently unless you make a large order. I tried ordering a USB cable, less than a fiver, happy to pay the postage if less than £20 minimum for free delivery.
Nope, won't let me. "Add-on" means I have to spend a minimum of £20 before they'll let me purchase the item at all. It'll just get removed from your basket at checkout otherwise.
I just purchased the bloody thing on eBay instead (none to be found on ocuk). I find myself visiting the rainforest less and less these days.
