Celeb chef Gary Rhodes has passed away in Dubai at the age of 59.

No age that. Liked his programmes a lot years back. Great chef. Massive shame.

Just read this too. 59! Doesn't say how either, or if it was an illness or what so seems really young to go. Really liked watching him, seemed like a nice guy, too.

Jesus, only 59. One of the few celebrity chefs I could watch who didn’t make me want to vomit. Seemed devoid of the pretentiousness and self importance so many of his fellow celeb chefs seem to suffer from.

I still use his new British classics book..and his yorkshire pudding recipe has never failed me

must have been the result of an accident or illness as he always looked pretty fit

Shocked at this, as has been said above I thought he looked after himself and didn't really look his age. Any confirmation of what caused it yet? I see above it may have been a fall.
