A California church has spent almost a week trying to raise a 2-year-old girl from the dead

I’d laugh if it did actually work, and she comes back as the cyber-demon, and eats the whole lot of them, alive and screaming.

It will turn out well - at least some of the group members will succeed in the "getting of wisdom".

Resurrected what though? Nothing can reverse brain death. Once the brain has been starved of oxygen for several minutes, all functions are corrupted and there's no hope for the person who was an individual to return as that individual, this is basic biology which overrules absolutely everything and why there is no documented or observed case of such a thing being possible in all history. The excerpt above from the church says that the 4th day is the best day for revival, absolute false hope which is unhealthy.
Well aren't you a negative ninny. I saw a documentary recently called Pet Sematary, where they were able to resurrect a cat, so it's worth a go!

"Day 12 of the resurrection vigil and nothing to report"

"Day 56 and still nothing to report"

"Day 318, nothing to report"

....

That last line of the article:

The family hopes to raise $100,000 through GoFundMe.

What do they need 100,000 for exactly? Can't be the funeral if the child is being resurrected, would be one hell of an extravagant funeral if it was though.

I know medical bills can be high in the US, but surely not that high to essentially pronounce the child dead?

This is the type of stuff that gives religion a bad name.

I'm not surprised it's in America.

They pray to God then try and overrule him by encouraging resurrection.

They're equally as stupid as everyone else who follows an organised religion, except maybe they're a bit more serious about their beliefs.

Yeah so this science stuff we've got, we've been working on it for literally centuries, learning new things and understanding how the human body works.

Yeah, let's just throw all that in the bin because a 20 century old book says that magic is possible.

Idiots, I bet they're all anti-choice, anti-vaxxers and possibly Corbyn supporters too.

It's just American religion, like the rest of America it's all just about worshipping money, and getting people to donate money for nonsense, like people paying for Peter Popoff's miracle spring water..

I'm not religious. I don't think for one minute this would actually revive the little girl. But I have no problem with them trying. Maybe my belief is wrong and they are right. Maybe they could have resurrected her. I doubt it. But maybe they could. So let them try.

But it won't work, we know this thanks to science.

Also, fullstops are not commas.
