*** Nintendo Switch ***

What is Mario vs Rabbids like? I have awful memories of the first Rabbids games so just kind of dismissed this one. But I've seen people on here say some good things, worth picking up?

Absolutely worth it, I wasn't such a fan of the DLC but the main game is in my top 5 Switch titles.

for those stuck at work theres a website to have a browse

Switch is still new to me so happy for a sale. Going to pickup Moonlighter, Mario Rabbids, Golf Story, Dead cells, Steamworld Heist and Enter the Gungeon. Way too many games to chew through considering I already purchased FF X/X-2 remaster and FF XII I keep telling myself because it's handheld I'll have the time to go through these, yeah right :D

Amazing site thanks for the recommending it

In the hope that it will save someone else wasting their money, I have no idea how The Touryst got such good reviews. It's got a charming art style but the gameplay is incredibly basic, the platforming sections are infuriating as the controls are so loose and the "puzzles" are so simple they're barely puzzles at all. I wasn't expecting the next Fez but this plays like it belongs on my iPhone for a couple of quid.

Back to Slay The Spire! :)

Glad to hear, money is tight and I got a switch under the Xmas tree. Think I'll get this game for £11 in the sales. Really wanted Zelda or Mario oddyssey/kart but too expensive with buying presents for everyone.
How long does the base game take?

Mario & Rabbids is excellent and at £11 is an absolute steal.

Also worth bearing in mind that there's some decent free games on the eShop. Paladins, Smite, Realm Royale, Fortnite, DC Universe Online, Warframe. Possibly others, but I haven't played them. List here.

Anyone can give me a summary on how does buying from other regions work? Looking to get coop games like overcooked and such

Thanks I'll take a look. But amazing news my gamer grandad has over a £100 in cex vouchers and let me have some to buy Zelda breath of the wild. So happy, I wasn't able to buy it and really wanted it as my first experience on the switch.

Its absolutely brilliant, bought the game + DLC in the sale and haven't been able to put it down since.

I completed Luigi's Mansion 3, so I picked up Odyssey to get started with.

Is it a consistent thing that the controls feel weird and spongey on all Switch titles? It was my main gripe with LM3, that and the retarded camera. But it's the same with Odyssey. It makes the precision jumping very difficult as it's so vague.

Loving my switch 1.1, I have updated the console and also changed the background to black and I have setup the eshop. My grandad gave me his spare PS4 headphones to use and they seem enough for what I want. I haven't tried it on the TV yet and tbh probably won't until I get a multiplayer game like Mario kart to play with family. This for me is a portable console if I want to play on a screen I have my pc for that.
I'm impressed with the size and clarity of the screen, glad I ended up getting this one over the lite. I have played on it for about an hour and a half and don't notice the weight at all, but that might change with 3 hour sessions.
Zelda BOTW looks great and runs great, I can't believe that I'm playing something of this size in a handheld console and it's all on a tiny cartridge. Also going back to cartridges, what a great nastalgic feeling.
The analogue sticks took a little getting used too but I feel okay with them now.
Just need to get myself a orzly screen protector and bag as a priority I think, not worried about it but better sooner rather than later.

Got my boy a switch+12 months code I'm trying to redeem the code on the console but it looks like I can only redeem the code if I either add payment method or add funds. Am I doing something wrong? I assumed I would buy the code and redeem it and It would be fine for 12 month.

Never mind I sorted it, all I had to do was add funds.
