Edit: Also, after maxing out the AK, I've duely moved onto the Beryl as my main go to AR, bloody hell it's wrecking!

Nice, I sometimes love it, I sometimes don't. It's a wrecker close range no matter the attachments though.
 
Beryl is a beast but it can be so unpredictable that its often just not worth it for the damage. especially when you can have a mp5 fully decked or a vector.
 
If I'm honest I don't use AR's anymore. Bolt action and a Boyzone is all you need. The Boyzone (I know) is basically a laser gun at any range with a massive mag and no recoil.
 
bizon is not bad but its weak. especially end game when people are threed up. thats really when you want damage. you could say that about the mp5 and vector but their fire rate and ease of aiming most often wins out. i always carry bolt action over dmrs. dmrs are just so weak. unless you just spamming accuratley to kill. it is good for someone in your team to carry a dmr though which is what our squad mainly does. just for suppression at range. then 3 will carry bolt rifles.
 
Thing is, when I carry a SMG it lacks the fragging power when it comes to blowing up vehicles, and I miss that more than when its a straight up AR vs SMG fight in conditions where the SMG has the upper hand.

Have had great fun with the vector when playing super sneaky though, and the bizon was great when it first came out... im sure its been nerfed a bit though.

Argee that DMR can be weak. They are okay when picking off an already wounded target, and they can be proper beast if you have a suppressor on them too.

I take the VSS a lot as well, but not on mirimar, ever.


The beryl is much much much better if you crouch when using it, I used to do that with the AK a lot too, but it doesnt matter to much to me any more as I got the AK recoil control down to a pat. I don't think that will ever really be the case with the beryl though, under anything but close up conditions, not crouching that is.

EDIT: When I pick up the m416 its like childs play recoil after all the ak action, lol.

First game in days with no packet loss and wow people actually die when you shoot them. First game = chicken dinner.

I had this today. Disconnected from the same game 3 times but it let me back in each time. Had the same a few nights ago when the 3 of us got disconnected (2 of us numerous times).
 
I'm done with this game until they fix it. The game is a complete mess currently and just unplayable for me.
 
Have you got the network stat display showing?

We've just had one game tonight that was 0% loss, everything else since before Xmas has been 50%+.

It finally been acknowledged by the devs though and they've moved some servers to reduce it whilst they investigate. It's routing though, not something they can patch. I've heard from a few people that have trace routed it that its an issue where it passes through some IBM servers somewhere.

Why does my game go quiet when there’s people shooting on the map? My player movements go quiet, like my footsteps and my gun fire, I’ve looked through the settings but can’t find anything.

Anyone else?
