US kills Iran's General Soleimani

So this guy was responsible for 9/11?

Also direct attack on the US Embassy in Iraq? There were hundreds of civilians who stormed it because the US is so hated in Iraq. I didn't see any Iranian soldiers in the photos. Iraq has declared 3 days of national mourning for this guy. I don't think you understand what is happening here.

Again, where is he responsible for thousands of american deaths?

If you listened to Trump's press conference he says "hundreds". Even that isn't credible.

You sound very gullible.

Here is the tweet to remind you

Here is the press conference given by Trump:

from the transcript:
This is your post and I'm the gullible one? Ok :D

Is there any reason why you cut the sentence at "before"?
Though Iran, and its proxy group Hezbollah in Lebanon, has cooperated with al-Qaida before, both the 9/11 commission report and a 2018 study by the New America thinktank, based on roughly 470,000 declassified files found that the groups didn’t work together to commit terrorist acts.

It's ridiculous anyway, we know it was Saudi fundamentalists that did it, funded by their Wahhabi leadership who may or may not have significant presence at the time in the Saudi establishment (the US has constantly blocked efforts to investigate it). This ******** about Iran and 9/11 is weak. There are plenty of other valid criticisms/events/actions without sullying the whole argument on why Soleimani deserved this.

What he doesn't get is that right now Iran (and possibly a large part of Iraq) sees Trump and the USA as the terrorists.

If Iran wanted to inflame the situation further they might have a similar post using the 290 deaths caused by the USA below.

'He bad man for killing Iranian civilians. P.S. If you visit an Iranian cultural site at the wrong time, we will kill you.'

What he doesn't get is that right now Iran (and possibly a large part of Iraq) sees Trump and the USA as the terrorists.

I honestly believe if Iran retaliates right now he will authorise a barrage of cruise missile attacks like against Syria aimed at Iranian targets. None the less he wants eyes looking outward and not at the domestic goings on right now.

Came up at least twice today at work that people were noticing WWIII memes all over social media but had no idea why! in one case a group of about 8-9 people mostly in their 20s and I was the only one that knew about these events. I guess people just don't watch the news, etc. any more.

Largely how I looked at it. Sends a massive statement. The US will openly attack high ranking military targets, wherever they want, whenever they want. Seemingly without fear of reprisal.
I imagine it's made a few people reassess a strategy or two.
And people wonder why NK wants nukes?

Even the Iraqi PM condemned the attack, but apparently had no ability to stop the US from using its air space to launch drone attacks?

I guess they only ask when it suits them?

Thousands of Americans?

That number was quickly reduced to hundreds in Trump's press conference.

I wonder what the real number is.

Then compare that number to what will happen if this thing escalates.

The WMD BS led to how many American and Iraqi deaths? How many people around the world has it radicalised?
Its just propaganda they are trying to pin the deaths that happened just after the second gulf war when the American occupation happened a lot of american soldiers were killed but that was the Sunni resistance nothing to do with Shia.

Why do you think out of my entire post he tries to pick something to destroy the credibility.

He hasn't actually come back on a single point

He probably thinks this is also true.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saddam_Hussein_and_al-Qaeda_link_allegations

People like making illogical things up with no evidence. Then try and somehow rationalise it afterwards.
Because your post has no credibility to begin with, it's barely worth my time to break down how wrong you are.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...p-al-qaeda-revealed-newly-released-trove-bin/

"A 19-page document written by a senior member of al-Qaeda details an arrangement between Iran and members of the group to strike American interests in "Saudi Arabia and the Gulf"

Yet you post a yellow news article that has contradictions in as some kind of proof against a "conspiracy theory" because they would never work together! Sure thing. ;)

So this guy was responsible for 9/11?
No? Its claimed he played a part in the attack though, unless you're claiming only those who flew the planes are accountable?

Also direct attack on the US Embassy in Iraq? There were hundreds of civilians who stormed it because the US is so hated in Iraq. I didn't see any Iranian soldiers in the photos. Iraq has declared 3 days of national mourning for this guy. I don't think you understand what is happening here.

"Oh I didnt see any soldiers hurr durr" Is this actually a serious reply? His name was sprayed on the embassy wall by the Hezbollah attackers that the IRGC financed and placed there, did you expect full military dress for the attack?

Sulaimani and Mohandas sends their PMU troops to attack sovereign US territory in the US Embassy in Baghdad this is after YEARS of Sulaimani's IRGC waging a clandestine war on US servicemen in Iraq. This isnt contested anywhere but your ridiculous post here. You're the one who lacks understanding.

There are also multiple reports of celebrations FOR his death in both Iraq and Iran. I guess when Iran decided to gun down hundreds of their own people over the last few months, Including protestors who ran to a swamp to escape AFTER the protests had already dispersed but stil massacred by IRGC troops anyway, they may have some grievances.

Again, where is he responsible for thousands of american deaths?
Anyone who was complicit with 9/11 is responsible for thousands of civilian deaths, it's hardly difficult to understand that? Not to mention the hundreds of US forces personal.

If you listened to Trump's press conference he says "hundreds". Even that isn't credible.
Not credible? Why, because you say it isnt? Great arguement there, its widely reported on and nobody (aside from you) is disputing it. ;)

This guy was a foundational figure in the creation of Hezbollah, which was an IRGC project to consolidate all the Shiite militants in Lebanon, in keeping HAMAS in the game even after Arafat's Fatah cut a deal with Israel and is directly responsible for the human catastrophe that has engulfed Yemen for more than a decade now.

You seem awfully quick to berate someone, yet you have posted absolutely nothing of substance. Sad.
