This question comes from changing from a 4k 60Hz monitor, to a 1440p 120hz monitor. Both monitors are great for different scenarios, i.e FPS require the higher refresh rates vs say video and picture editing, work or racing games, that don't require the higher refresh rates and can benefit for higher resolution. So why not keep both?
Is there a twin monitor stand on the market, that allows you to easily swap which monitor is in front of you, without having to dismount them from the stand? In my head it is an easy thing to do. But I can't find one on the net. I would suspect the monitors would be on a rail system. One monitor mounted in the middle and the other to the right. When changing to the next monitor, simply slide the rail to the left, changing the main monitor in the middle and putting the secondary onto the left.
This raises another question, that may have already been answered, can you have a dual setup, that have different resolutions and refresh rates?
