More competition to lower prices sounds good to me.
Sure, with that abysmal performance.

Every few years for the last two decades Intel have promised to bring out a dedicated GPU or say that their integrated graphics will rival dedicated video cards and they always fail to deliver. We'd all welcome more competition but I'll be amazed if this time is any different ......!
It seems like from a business point of view it would make more sense for them to try and focus on improving integrated graphics in their mobile chipsets to sway consumers away from AMD/Nvidia rather than trying to compete in the duopoly that is the desktop GPU sector.
It seems like an odd product for Intel to launch at this stage?
Intel trying to get to the compute market where AMD & Nvidia are making a lot of money. No Intel CPU current in the market can compete even with the Vega 64 on computing, let alone MI60 or the upcoming MI100 beast. To get there needs to start from somewhere for the compute stuff.
Ah ok, that makes more sense as to why they'd want to get back into the GPU market!
Exclusive: Internal Intel docs reveal 500-watt Xe graphics, ’tile’ architecture
My matrox card was just fine with my Voodoo 2 sli combo thank you very much !Might aswell bring back Matrox.
And Jesus wept. 500W GPU.
It is rare but not the first time.
I just hope anyone who buys a 500W GPU has a solid PSU or there will be problems.
Or a dual PSU system!!
You don't actually know what a workstation is, do you.Well if you are not gaming or using it as a workstation why would you get such a good CPU?
I think I have got that covered.
2 x 1500W PSUs in my little 24/7 system.
