Hi everyone im looking for some advice my current monitor an ASUS VH222H is starting to show its age and im looking for a replacement.
Ideally im looking for something a larger maybe from 24" upto 32" and have a budget upto £250 which i know isnt a lot which is why im looking for advice.I mainly play Football Manager and just do general pc stuff but i would like to be able to play games like Call of Duty etc in the future
I have been looking at the AOC range of monitors because they seem to offer good value for money.

My current setup is

MSI B450 TOMAHAWK
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Sapphire AMD Ryzen 5 2600

Any advice gratefully received

Get an AOC 24G2U for around £170 and you'll be pleased you didn't spend more. Since you can buy 1440p but you lose out on refresh rate for COD at that price-point.

Which Sapphire card is it? You quoted the Ryzen 2600 twice.

Apologies its a Sapphire ATI Radeon RX 480 4GB which after doing some research online seems as though it might struggle so i might need a new GPU as well. The AOC 24GU was actually the one i was looking at originally then i started looking at the AOC 27G2U as well

24" better for 1080p. Especially reading text. Crisper. But I suppose some don't mind PPI loss in exchange for a bigger screen. RX 480 will be fine for FM and COD, at least.

Thats brilliant thanks a lot for the advice looks like i will be going for the 24" and you have saved me having to shell out for a new GPU for a little while

24G2U is such a handy little beast. For anybody who can't currently afford a decent 2560x1440 144Hz+ or an more expensive screen, it's not worth spending more. Unless it's for slower-paced games where 2560x1440 75Hz is fine.
