Hey guys,

can anyone recommend websites that sell cheaper sunglasses (like Hawkers) ?

ive browsed hawkers but nothing takes my fancy..

I’ve also had a look at Spy, but they’re on the pricier side.

any suggestions ? Thanks !

edit. They don’t necessarily have to be cheap cheap. But no more than £200 :p

im a notorious tight wad ,but i do like a good pair of sunglasses (i aint hanging around rock with b&m shades on),i had so many cheap ones that end up a scratched mess or the arms drop off ,but to be fair i sat on these maui jim peahi and broke both lenses but got a full refurb for 75 quid including arms
im not suggesting you drop 150 notes on these fine sunglasses (mine were 125ish )but the clarity is amazing and the colours just wow
sorry for the useless post as these arnt cheap ,but its very rare i buy new and my eyes are worth it

It’s okay, I’m willing to spend anything up to 200 maximum.

I’ll take a look at some Maui Jim’s ! Thanks :D

Thing is ray ban ,oakley and a lot of the others are all luxottica brands ,the mauis do their own lenses and are amazing especially with the glass lenses ,sunglasses shop do 30 quid of first order

the cord attached btw is called gorilla grip ,4 quid well spent ,ebay or amazon ,saves accidents (unless you sit on them like i did)

i think if your buying a designer brand (like Gucci :p) then your getting screwed over but with the mauis your buying a fine pace of equipment that enhances your sight ,when you look at grass for instance you see different shades in amazing contrast that cant be seen without ,same as getting high end headphones for your ears imho

Oakley lenses are almost unbeatable for the money. They bead off water, resist misting in weather conditions and resist scratches etc better than most. I've had the Flak Jacket model before with bronze frame and lens for driving mainly but changed to the carbon fibre framed model as it's more "me" now and couldn't be happier. I've bought Ray Ban etc in between this changeover and was never happy due to too many internal reflections/glare or the shape of the lenses just were not as engineered for long term wear as Oakley stuff is.

If you are spending this kind of £ on sunglasses, that's where my money would go.

Got a pair of new Maui Jim’s a couple of years ago off ebay. One of the things that rests on your nose broke.

I took them to an official retailer in another country and they sent them away to the manufacturer to get fixed. Got them back 1-2 weeks later. No charge. Really impressed.
