IIRC it had a 4GB hard drive. I had that PC a long time before I built my first one -2001, when I started work full time - AMD duron 800mhz overclocked to 1000MHz I think. Think I fried it so upgraded to a 1.4GHz t bird.

You all must have had rich dads!
The PC I played Redalert on in 1996 was a P133, 1.2GB HDD, 2MB onboard graphics, 16MB RAM, 15" monitor and in VGA (320 x 240) SVGA (640x480) ran way too slow. Still, an incredible game

Quite a lot of people streaming it live here if you want to check out how it plays

https://cnc.community/command-and-conquer-remastered/#streams

I watched 3 vids briefly, these people would get royally roasted by the players of OpenRA :D Names I remember were FiveAces, Bain, Jur, Dying Fetus, .1, 9, Layer, Comrat, Medium tank, Fahrrad, Antarctica & McAfee. Some highly skilled RTS people there that came from playing Starcraft

Time to buy this and beat some people :)

Wow, just watched a streamer switch back and forth between the old and new graphics, the old graphics were so bad :D

Looks like you can zoom in and out of the map a bit now too

It might have been a couple of years after 1995. My dad was a TIG welder, max earnings about 25k a year so not a big earning family.

yea they really should have at least made more animations and gameplay depth, soon as the nostalgia wears off you're done
