Recently added a 3rd monitor, the extra desktop space is nice to have! Maybe a face full of screens detracts from the lovely wallpaper :D I RDP into work on one monitor, Firefox on the other (webmail, BBC news, OcUK) and Youtube on the other. 3 days in and it's not feeling too much like work, which is nice.

Still holding out at the office, but spending just as much time working at home at the moment so...

To be fair, I have a nice light office to myself at work, but in any other COVID outbreak I'd be at home in a heartbeat. However, half of my senior managers are at home self-isolating, so I'm remaining visible... for now!

Repost form the rooms and desk thread

Still very much temporary / work in progress. Was about to start decoration / flooring just as lockdown started so ordered the worktop and legs to at least enable me a half decent workspace.

Still needs :

Blinds / shutters
Full decoration
Under desk drawer / cupboard units
Cable management
Desk lamp (Anglepoise should be delivered today)
Mount note board
Proper chair
Flooring
Fit ceiling lamp
Hang pictures
Fit floating shelves
Cupboard for cycling clobber
Bed sofa

And I'm sure a few other things I've missed off the list ....

You guys are all far too neat, i'm working from home 4 days a week still but my study is pretty much a dumping ground for stuff so not much space left and no time to tidy up anything with my toddler daughter racing around causing havoc everywhere.

Recently picked up a 1.6m long x 0.8m deep height electric adjustable desk.
It was £210 from Ebay (used), plus ~£65 van hire to pick it up.

Desks tend to be 73cm tall, which is far too low for me as I am 191cm tall (6'3"). Having the desk at ~76cm tall makes the world of difference.
In addition, having the option to stand whenever I like is a lovely bonus.

I really do recommend a height adjustable desk.
I plug my work laptop into my 34" superwide screen :).

I gave up working on a dining table after 2 weeks

so I got myself a desk from wayfair. Have a look on there.

p.s I seen people using ironing boards for their desks lol
