Been reading that the you can change the faceplates colours on PS5 , hope so as not a fan of white . Has anybody else seen this ?

I had heard that they were going to make the PS5 customizable before on a twitter post so i am guessing this is what they meant.
Personally love the white but being customisable would be nice just to change things up and make it more personalised.
There was quite a lot of noise about the colour scheme after the reveal so would have expected Sony to have announced it by now if official.

Absolutely nothing - they are both baseless.
The 6th August rumour is from the guy who announced that pre-orders were going to be available a few weeks ago.
He has already updated his "6th August" post with the words "to be announced".
Another typical scatter-gun rumour mill - everyone will conveniently forget his past incorrect efforts if he's guessed right....
If you took out people posting rumours there wouldn't be much to talk about. It's just weird how many treat it as fact.

Hopefully, Arkane won't be the only ones using its features. I saw the video that quote is from, and it also says Deathloop will be 60 FPS.
PC is your Xbox, get game pass and you’re in the Xbox ecosystem.
Yes I specifically meant the hardware. I'll continue to use game pass whilst it remains $3.99. If it goes up I'll live without it. To be honest I only use it now because it's cheap, I don't actually have any MS exclusives on it.
Same for me, I bought a second-hand One S a while back for PUBG so my mate and I could play it (before it was released on PS4), and I hoped I'd get more from it with other games like Forza Horizon, but I can play those on my PC. Nothing about the Xbox has won me over, GamePass is a great thing but the entire experience of using the console is clunky and frustrating and ultimately, the PS5 has the games I want and is the more appealing bit of kit.
The differences in power or performance don't even enter into the equation for me really, the PS5 will be no slouch.
