Well that saves you touching something that 100's of other people also touch, during a global pandemic where we are told to wash our hands constantly.
Why worry then, their hands and you hands will be clean.

I do this. Stuff bag with shopping, empty bag on checkout thingy, then place bag on scale and fill it up again as I scan all my stuff.
Small shops only though, when it's too small for a trolley and I cba with a basket.
Never seen that lol
Sounds like a London thing?
Surely the sensible thing would be to have 2 bags![]()
i'm with you on this one.....so folk are moaning because someone has used their own bag instead of a basket?! time difference to empty a basket over a bag being measurable in seconds???Please, will somebody explain the issue!? I take my canvas bag, fill it, empty it whilst ringing through the till, then refill it. What, is, the problem?
It's hot, all the crazies come out
If you're cycling, then you need to be able to get it all in your backpack. So filling it on the way around the store guarantees you don't buy too much. There is no reason not to use a basket or trolley then load your shizz into your bag after paying or during check out.
