I always see this stuff being used for exhaust tips, can it actually be used on the exhaust / downpipe which im assuming is SS304?
Can I use Autosol (Metal Polish) On My Downpipe?

So google suggested I could. Just had a quick go and I think it turned out pretty well.

It's metal polish, you can polish any metal you want with it. It'll be fine.

Problem with downpipes is heat so after too long it will end up looking "burnt" again. Best bet is to take it off and get it ceramic coated.
