That video's making me rethink my intended 3090 purchase.. or at least wait for reviews (and/or AMD release reviews). But that waiting may get extended if stock is really gonna be that low

I would recommend waiting until all players have their cards on the table, but everything is still rumour so don't take things said as 100% fact.

In the best case Q4 2020, around GTC on 20th October.
In worse case, 2021...

It's disturbing that there is no discussion, nothing, it's like AMD doesn't make GPUs anymore.

Pretty certain first "leaks" start appearing after Nvidia's announcements.
AMD probably decides more accurate pricing etc after that.

AMD has said it will release prior to consoles. Consoles are scheduled for release around November i believe. MS and Sony will most likely want it released a few weeks before thanksgiving. October/early Novemeber is the most likely time frame for the release/announcement of AMDs cards. As Esat has said, we will start to see more leaks after Ampere is released.

AMD are waiting to undercut NVIDIA but still maximise their profit margins to the hilt.

Will be interesting indeed.

I hope AMD don't do this and just price as sensibly as possible. NVIDIA are at a strange stage in development where their greed really might get the better of them. I'm a 2080 owner and eager to upgrade but I'm not in a hurry and not in the mood to get shafted £1500 for a tangible performance increase.

If AMD can offer a 2080 upgrade for a sensible price, I'll move to them. If they just do their usual game of releasing a product 6-12 months later for £100 less, then I'll go for green team when the time comes.

XBOX nov 6th with PS5 under a week later.

Nvidia could also shut down AMD if they prices these cards right, but we all know that won't happen.

Vast majority of hyping for radeon launches was via supposed "leaks" and forum expectations taking every little bit of so called info like it was set in stone. Even when Vega FE launched a good bit before the gaming variant people still deluded themselves into thinking the gaming version would somehow be very different.

Funny how Koduri isn't at AMD any more and the uber hyping "leaks" have stopped...the entire RTG marketing team were ousted when Raja was given the boot, and suddenly AMD is a tight ship.

Like I said, maybe learning a lesson for once.
