Are you saying AMD's share price is going up because of insider trading? Y'know, illegal things? Investors are not privy to classified information. You do talk some tripe.

One AMD CEO 10+ years ago was accused of that - the one who precided over buying ATI IIRC.

Or nVidia are betting the farm on something people haven't caught on to yet ;)

Cyberpunk 2077 with Ultra RTX?

Intel DG2??

Intel DG2??
If Intel can sort out their interconnect within the next year, they'll have a proper head start on MCM GPU designs. By all accounts the tiles are pretty damn powerful and scale almost linearly, but the power draw for the interconnect grows ridiculously. A 4 tile design was smashing the 2080 Ti into oblivion allegedly, but did so drawing 500W. But then again, sod it. If Nvidia don't seem to care about power draw this gen, and by extension nor do the sheep customer base, why the hell not Intel? Drop a 500W card if it gives some performance grunt and mix things up a bit.

It would be funny if both AMD and Intel had high performance GPUs this generation.

How i would love to see leather jacket face if intel & AMD released faster GPU's for around £650 a day after the 3090 release :D

Whilst it would be utterly hilarious, it wouldn't happen.

As we know AMD will price only slightly cheaper than Nvidia and Intel being their premium brand delusional self would price between the two

..and people will still buy the nvidia+intel systems.

Yep... Gotta have that max fps regardless the cost!

I will stick with my 3800x as its an easy upgrade on my x570 to the next gen, i do want a new GPU though, my 5700xt is suffering on my 3440x1440p 100hz screen, maybe a 3080 or whatever AMD is bringing, i know 1000% it will not be Intel though, not giving those sheisters my cash again til they change their business practices.

If they match the 3080 whilst offering a cheaper price, I'd be happy with that.

Wow, so even if they offer a better product at a lower price, you wouldn't buy it just because? Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face.

I bet you don't mind cheap Chinese products whilst you're applying your morals to your purchasing decisions. I hear their business practices are beyond reproach ;).

An especially cold winter? :p
Made me chuckle thanks :D If I had a 3090, no chance I would be gaming this time of year, as even the 2080Ti was making me melt like a Ice cream. Imagine a 500W GPU and I would literally be throwing water on my PC to game in a sauna :D

Most of the benefits of Chinese manufacturing actually goes to the US and EU megacorps who make most of every pence in a pound on it. After all why is Apple the richest company in history? It comes from luxury priced products made at bargain basement prices, in factory cities where people literally live in the factory complexes and don't see their families for months. They will have no problems moving production elsewhere and using workers in the same way. These companies literally play one poor country against another,so you have situations where places who have higher costs due to treating the workers better can't complete with places which don't.

I think we both know Intel wont be cheaper than AMD.. It wont happen, if they did have a cheaper more superior product then of course i would put my grievances regarding their shady business practices aside and purchase.

But i think we al know Intel won't be cheaper if they are superior

Off-topic, but I think aside overpriced devices, the explosive grown in Apple's revenue in the recent years probably from the Apple Tax of taking 30% cut from almost all in-app purchases. Essentially that includes all the games with microtransation and loot boxes/gachas.

It also comes from cheap manufacturing of their products in the factory cities. If you look at where the money is made, its not the countries who make the products, its the middle men and the companies who sells the products. When I was abroad I saw items sold for £1~£2 over here, costing 50p in a shop in another country(so that includes the margins for the supplier and shops in that country). The markup is quite large.

China and India are still poor countries - the GDP figures look OK,until you realise between them its nearly 3 billion people!
