He says 3070 is faster than 2080Ti but showed no proof, not bad overall prices could've been way worse.
I will likely still go for the 3070, as the 3080 only has 2gb extra RAM and if 8GB aint gona be enough, 10 probably won't either. Had it been 12GB I recon I would have paid the extra. But lets see the reviews first.

No reasonable performance metrics. "Relative performance" is a way to hide behind the distortion of RTX.

The bottom line is that whilst the price of the 3080 looks good, we don't know what it is going to do. Still need those proper benchmarks to judge...

Well, meh. 3080 performance seems great, but I'm not willing to downgrade my vram from my 1080 Ti. The 3090 info is pretty sparse and there seems to a big fat gap for a 3080 Super/Ti.
