NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Well, much like the Titan, the 3090 makes zero sense at all other than bragging rights. Will only be 20% faster than the 3080 at literally twice the price.
I just some my 2080ti for £820.

Was going to go full hog and get the 3090 but not sure now, I really wish the 3080ti was out with the 20gb of memory!

Even if the 3070 is ~ 2070 super but with usable RT, it will still sell and is what we should have got last time.

$100 discount on rumoured price and everyone loves Nvida again!

3080 at £650. I'll take that. So just need to see what benchmarks look like on a PCIe3 system.

Whilst I still maintain PCIE4 will make no different to gaming performance, that new storage decompression stuff could well actually require it for decent performance. Benchmarks will be interesting!

It is just as I said. All those price were fake news to get people to think these price are a bargain. They are not a bargain, they are the max they should ever have been.

That would have been nice, but I did not think it would happen, not if 2080Ti performance plus much better RT.

Meh, 970/1070 were around what, 300~350, Turing was 'expensive' because of RT. Generations always improve on past performance. It would have been nice if the lower end hadn't been bumped up making PC gaming more unafforable for those of us on a tighter budget.

My thoughts exactly. I have a feeling that not many people are going to be getting them for £500 though.

Still it’s better than the £600 we were hearing about. Will be good to see what Amd have to offer I may be upgrading from my 980ti after all :).

Yea, I don't think most of them will be around £500 either, probably add an extra £100.
