NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Does anywhere else apart from Nvidia Sell FE cards as am having huge trouble finding somewhere that sells them

Nvidia doesn't post to my location..

Its been out 2 years, what did they expect Nvidia to bring on a new node. They should have sold up months a go.
Very true. I don't give a hoot that my 2080Ti isn't worth anything and has allowed me over the 2 years of owning it to enjoy my games/VR. I will wait it out with my 2080Ti and see in a couple of months on what is what.

One thing that concerns me re the FE 12 pin power connector.. if you have to use the splitter supplied because you do not have a psu with the 12 pin ..then that's 3 connections..i am no electrician but would that not cause a fair bit of resistance in the cable ..i mean ive seen a fair few 12 volt molex extensions into hard drives go puff in the past and that's low amps compared to these cards ...
Interesting, any disclaimers in warranties for Carrington events?

Record 5 mins of footage with RT and let’s see you average 150fps during gameplay.

Best I can do one handed. It doesn't change during gunfights either, seems very dependent on the scene itself. Apologies that my camera hates the curved display, not much I can do about that.

Edit. Unless I tape the camera to my head I can not play it for 5 mins whilst recording sorry.

The GPU will do 2150 easily too. For some reason it has gone back to stock clocks.

Exciting times though mate, 3080 is def where it's at atm :)

3090 is monstrous but for 15-20% extra performance just nowhere near worth it!

See we've got wishes thinkers in the MM already, £850 for a 2080 Ti which is now supposedly the same speed as a 3070 for £469. Lol :D

i have seen an ad somewhere else (no access to MM yet) that wouldn’t accept less than £800 for a 2080ti and he even mentioned in the ad that offers lower than this were of dreamers and wishers.. lol

good luck with that. As many others, the 3080 will be the likely option for me. And gaming at 3840x1600, not sure I’ll ever need more than that on that screen.

Apparently 20% or so extra perf and a lot of VRAM suddenly means 8k 60fps according to Nvidia, seems many are swallowing the BS up too  it's obvious they ran less demanding games for that stat
