Has to be a point where old enough accounts can get access to the MM aswell. Or at least reduce the post count required! nearly 10 years myself... I just don't post a lot on forums/online in general!

That carries the risk of sellers offering up to buy older accounts just to come and spam. People could just sell if it's an account with a few posts. People wouldn't sell as easily if they had to spend time and build a reputation/history on the forums!

I think anyone dedicated to that could probably bot 1000 posts on here and sell it quicker than waiting years!

Thanks both.

It took me 10 years, so I understand. But you should consider that MM competes with the main website (OcUK doesn't take a cut out of MM), and they're doing it for the forum members. High bars to entry make perfect sense. They don't want MM flooded with sellers looking to take a profit/undercut OcUK.
The lockdown has boosted my post count and I can almost see the light :D

I think people are mental selling there 2080tis for £400-£550 without waiting for proper reviews on the 3070,3080,3090.

i do too but obviously the 3080 has to be better this time around over the TI version we cannot have another release where it is not plus its half the 2080ti price

OcUK doesn't take a cut of MM sales. You're always free to sell it on platforms that take you in a heartbeat (and charge a commission). It took me over 10 years to get to 1000 posts, but it's okay because I'm not entitled to MM just because I buy things from OcUK.

Congratulations on the 1000 posts. See my recent post, enquiring if this forum was part and parcel of the website, this might save you from making unnecessary comments in the future.

I'm definitely sure people are paying their money to buy a forum account on overclockers.co.uk with over 1000 posts, in order to spam.

That definitely happens. Definitely.
