NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

I'll be honest I didn't even think about this. With a water cooled CPU I wouldn't have this issue would I? Saying that there was one day this year where my PC turned off twice due to CPU over heating! I know we don't have full results etc yet but would normally what has better cooling, FE or the third party ones?

These cards are rated for higher board power. Maybe wait for the RTX3070TI 16GB leaked by Lenovo? Lower board power than your current GPU?

How on the Seth are you cooling 600w for your cpu, ln2?

Water. Lots of. I have a couple of 560mm rads plus some 420mm. Two circuits, one for the cpu and the other for the gfx cards.

those Intel cpus are damn toasty and draw a hell of a lot of juice!

Not sure why everyone is so obsessed with 4K gaming, personally I find 3440x1440 Ultrawide a far more immersive experience than retaining the old 16:9 aspect but with a higher res.

Also has the benefit of being far easier to drive than 4K and with high-refresh panels more readily available.

Hi mate, it's all done off the same system, at times my game can feel somewhat sluggish but as a whole my stream quality is pretty good, just on the odd occasion it goes like a potato even at 8000 bitrate. I use the GPU setting for the encoder, NVENC I think it is rather than CPU encoder.
If you want the smoothest game play during streaming then the 3090 is the way to go, we should know more when the reviews start appearing as a few of them will touch on streaming with the 3080/3090. :)

I love my TV for gaming :)

You are forgetting some people use their pc for other than just gaming as well.

Personally I still miss the 16:10 screens never mind wanting a 21:9 screen.

And the beauty of having to get a 48" 4k screen is you can run it as 1 3440 x 1440 ultrawide screen if you so wish anyway.

Plus I have never really got my head round ultrawides. I mean if you have an ultrawide and a 16:9 screen and they are both the same width, how can it not be even more immersive to have more top and and bottom screen showing as well?

In a mini-ITX case with limited case cooling and 350W board power??

Part of the FE cooler vents back into the CPU compartment, and it's hard to say if the RTX3090 will fit in the case.

Yeah 3950 ryzen and a 3090 he will just about stream :)

moores law is dead, such a pompous sod of late, much like adored, has multiple leaks or so he claims but wont say anything just yet. also like jim they go around in hyping stuff up before trying to talk it back down a week or two later.

Because very few 4K screens are as wide as a 34" ultrawide, let alone a 38" one.

Yes TVs are but very few people use a large TV at regular monitor viewing distances as they're just too cumbersome.
