I always get a bit confused about this. Does the timings reset each session? So going purple in a sector during a Q3 run doesn't mean it's the fastest that day, just the fastest in that Q3 session?

Lance has updates worth 0.250 sec that Perez doesn't.

I'm pretty sure Leclerc must be getting updates Vettel isn't. The gap is just too big.

He was also faster in sector 3, but slower than Max. (I have live timing up).

You know in Space Jam where the aliens suck out all the talent from the basketballers through the basketball? I feel the same has happened to Vettel. It's like he's just forgot how to drive

That's really no excuse he's probably the highest paid driver on the grid. People were arguing before that he's performing badly because he's fell out of love with F1 but if he had he wouldn't have signed for Aston Martin.

This is all playing out just the same as when Danny Ric ran him out of Red Bull just the Ferrari isn't as competitive a car.

Next year is going to be important for Vettel. I like the personality but the driver, i don't think he has it. He can command and lead a race like no other when he is at the front, but when it comes to actual racing I'll always bet on him bottling it.
