NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

I never said it did not get decent gains in 1440p?
I know but you said 4k to get the most out of it, don't think that will be the case with heavy games like flight simulator and cyberpunk though i think it will perform well. Suppose it depends what performance you expect and depending if you have a screen over 60hz

Seems fairly decent to me? But yea could be a bit better.

Still a lot quicker than series x if it's around 2080 perf.

Yeah I mean it's decent but when you think coming from a 1080ti 3 1/2 years we've had next gen Turing and now next gen Ampere as Jensen puts it, it's not next gen performance really for well in reality it's 4 years if your coming from a 1080.

But it's still decent I guess just overhyped as usual.

Read the description. It’s the same ‘Chinese benchmark leak’ dataset, which dozens of media sites have shared, put into their own graphs, made alternate videos etc. It’s all from the same leak.

I’m still impressed with those numbers tbh. Quite a good upgrade for me still coming from a 2070 Super. But I’ll wait and see for real reviews and benchmarks on (now) Wednesday.

Yeah possibly they are the same, It's decent I guess but if I had a 2080ti there's not a cat in hell chance I'd be upgrading to the 3080.

Coming from a 1080 I'd say so, I'm still not convinced coming from a 1080ti.

You'll defo see a big increase.

Will wait for the reviews, but from what I have seen 4K is what gets the most out of the card. That does not mean 1440p does not do well.

Hardly next gen is it lol, don't believe the hype.

Sorry but what? There's nearly a 2x increased from 2070 Super to 3080 in those Tomb Raider tests at 4K

Not to mention the synthetic tests... The Fire Strike 4K gap between the 2080Ti and 3080 is more than the gap between 2060 Super and 2080Ti.. I'd say that's pretty good :)

The same with the others.. The difference between 2060 Super and 2080Ti is near that of the 2080Ti to 3080... Maybe I'm not seeing something.. But that seems good.

I'm probably just more picky because i prefer having as high minimums as possible :p
60fps is more than enough for me personally. I don’t do online or twitch gaming. Nice and slow single player experience games. Before people start saying yea but...

I am not saying there is not an improvement at higher fps or hz, take a deep breath, read what I said again ;)

I do believe these are real, there's enough of them out there to be leaked correct results now.

No this is actual next gen Turding was not worth eggorth. Seen em al looks massive jump in 4k for me plus rt and dlss.

Well getting the most out of it on a 60hz 4k screen? Maybe, otherwise maybe not depending on game and game settings and having a high hz screen i would not call "getting the most out of it" if FPS starts going into the 40's or 30's but each to his own.

Not sure them benchmarks are correct now, on checking "GPU Check" don't know how realistic these or if they are correct, according to that a 1080ti can do 42fps in SOTTR whereas the 3080 can do 77fp in n 4k for both cards, that's not double the performance of a 1080ti IF that is correct however.

Just to add according to GPU check it's the 3090 that does 88fps in SOTTR so someone's mixing these results up between the 3080 and the 3090.

as a previous 2080ti owner i'm torn over which card to get, the 3080 is a decent unplif in leaked benchmarks and i have a 4k display, i do have the cash for the 3090 and i know that thing should shread at 4k, problem is the rumored lack of stock on release date for both.

what should i do?

You think the 2080ti should have been £1399

Noo lol I meant the price the 2080ti should have been, what I'm saying is this is what we've got for 4 years development, expected though because Nvidia was running the market, but it's going to change soon hopefully with AMD back in the game, it's good for us consumer in the long run.
