4K performance looks absolutely stonking.
That Techpowerup at 4K, on average it's doubling the performance of a 5700XT.

There's definitely CPU bottlenecks all over the place.
AMD Ryzen 3XXX scaling looks pretty poor though, I think Hardware unboxed making a massive mistake if they review with the 3900X.

hhhmmm.... looks good on a barchart but that 30%, its 30% faster than the 2080TI.

Not quite what a lot people were expecting after the Kitchen hype.

Ignoring the hype and coming back down to earth, there is nothing wrong with +30%. Its ok, this isn't Maxwell, its just a step up in performance.

Its decent, considering the 2080ti was £1,400 but i am now really interested to see if the 3070 can get near the 3080 at 1080p.
 
I quite agree, excluding 1080 which is as good as maxed out anyway with the current range of cards, 20-25% increase in 1440p and 30-35% increase at 4K for half the money is a strident leap forward!
That's great.
Hope AMD can pull something similar.

The new hope.... the 3070 has a lot less shaders than the 3080, don't expect much from it.

Rofl what a stinker!!! Glad i did not sell my 2080ti what did i say? Nvidia are villians and every year people get all uppy and suddenly think Nvidia turned a stone.

Were being drip fed at high prices, And what about the launch timing of the two vendors its pretty suspicious if you ask me there is some kind of agreement going on between AMD and Nvidia to stagnate and keep prices high. After all the CEO of both are uncle and neice they can anytime talk as family and disclose all the dates and prices.
