So according to Linus they got worse results with a Founders 2080Ti for CPU/System temps, than with the 3080 Founders.

Will likely play just as well, if not better on the Series X unfortunately.
More like 13% taking into account overclocking
16,000 GPU marks in Timespy with 2080Ti
18,000 GPU marks in Timespy with 3080 (17,832 stock - https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_rtx_3080_founder_review,27.html )
If the 3080 doesnt overclock well, then the 2080Ti gains will be much less.

Yeah but after Nvidia's presentation and the "up to 2x faster than a 3080" it should have been 50% faster than the 2080ti.
Thats why people are now disappointed with up to 30%.

I'm yet to watch the video, what case did they use? Or was it on a test bench?
As a side note TastyPC had a ~10% reduction in CPU temps when using a piece of cardboard to block airflow from the GPU going into the CPU cooler. Unfortunately she didn't compare it to a FE 2080ti.
