I'm going to have to do this when I get home from work, as I secured one on Amazon this morning. Did you call them? Reason I ask, is because I checked out as a guest, so I can't login to an account as such.

That might be the underlier with all these missing confirmation emails. I went with the bundle partly because I wanted the headset but also because I knew it would be the one people are least likely to be spamming add to cart for.

I thought they said Miles Morales was made ground up for the PS5?

And I read the Horizon devs saying they needed to cut flying from the PS4 game as the data couldnt stream\load fast enough, but the sequel would have those same limitation if its on PS4 too

I had left the order confirmation page open from last night, so I clicked the "create account" option on that page today and created an account with the same details used for the order. I was able to cancel it via orders page in my account after that. It too me several attemps to get the page to load today though.

Managed to get a disk one from amazon, sat a my desk hitting refresh telling everyone to leave me alone but it worked

I've not even looked at extra bits, are all the headsets sold out as im quite intrested in one of those
 
Anyone else surprised they still haven't shown anything about the storage upgrade? Are they just saying eventually USB (even 3.2 20gbps isn't enough tho?) will be good enough, or is there an SSD slot under the cover somewhere we can't see?

EDIT: Just seen the spec is
USB Type-A port (Hi-Speed USB)USB Type-A port (Super-Speed USB 10Gbps) x2
USB Type-C® port (Super-Speed USB 10Gbps)

So yeah, must be a proprietary / other slot somewhere that we haven't seen yet, maybe the swappable faceplates rumour is true and it's hiding under there?

It'll take a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD but they need to be certified by Sony first to ensure they meet the performance requirements.
 
Do we have any ideas what audio formats will be supported on the 4k uhd movie blu ray disks.

I know the games won't do atmos, but wondering if movies will?

It's going to be a standard M2 slot - however at the moment there are no SSD's available which meet the minimum specification.
Sony have said they will start producing a list of compatible devices once they hit the market - so no, not proprietary.
You can plug in any USB HDD/SDD you like, however you can only play Ps4 games from such a drive or potentially store PS5 games.

Might sound like a stupid question but will the 5 output Dolby digital? I would assume so, but the Switch for example doesn't :/

Aye - me too, or rather I want to know if it supports Dolby Vision.
We know MS are using Atmos and DV for their games - only their console uses this etc. We've known Sony are doing their "own thing" for a while.
But I'd like to think for streaming and movie playback we have the support of all the standards etc.
