No-one should be buying one at anything above RRP given that there's still 2 months until release. I'm willing to bet you'll be able to freely order one a few days before/after release date without too much trouble.

Different accounts, different cards, maybe even different addresses.

I'm sure most companies don't really care if people are getting around it as long as they sell out they're all good. I did read on HUKD that some people were having their multiple orders cut down to 1 at Game. Shame they didn't cancel the order entirely :cool:
 
Having not seen the UI I'm not entirely sure what benefit the media remote provides. I'm also fairly confident there will be cheaper non official ones at some point. I prefer official controllers but a remote I'm not fussed about.
 
I'm hoping my interest in shopto back in June is high enough in the qué for one on release day. Hope they announce there allocation soon so people can cancel if not successful
 
I have through Argos but god knows how. My billing address on the account was my parents address from when I probably used argos 15 years ago :D
I called argos and eventually got through to somoeone who told me the order has gone through and will be delivered to my delivery address. Can even see the order tracking on the Argos website but have no confirmation email

God knows if one will arrive or how the money will come off my card where the billing address is incorrect. Or maybe my parents will get a PS5?!

Love how the internet fully melts down when a GPU or new Playstation is released. Why not get scalable web servers and have hundreds of thousands of items if they are in high demand. Or maybe guage the sales by colleting info. It can't be too hard surely!

Alight off pre order talk, but just thinking.

There's been a big thing made about the SSD and being able to switch and resume games nearly instantly.
How's this going to work with the disk version of games?

With the PS4 as soon as you take the disk out it closes the entire game, then you have to insert the next gam and wait to register the disk. So can't see the instant resume/switching working here unless they don't require the disk in the drive any more?
