Same for me. Demon's Souls price I am not paying that. I might go for Valhalla at £51.99 but I'll wait for reviews or get it later on. PS+ and the content that I already own will be plenty.

I'm same with pc. Happy to spend on hardware but proper tight on software. Oh not played god of war or detroit either so that will be nice on the ps plus thing.

This still was grabbed from the presentation the other night. I assumed this would be the slot for the M.2 drive.

I never finished either of those I've been waiting for the new console. I played a lot of Detroit it's really good. Can't wait to go back to it. I don't own GOW sold it before finishing it so that'll also be nice to go back to.
 
No games at launch that excite me so I'm happy to wait until 2021, plus I'll be knee deep into Cyberpunk 2077 on PC from November onwards. I'll bite when God of War : Ragnarok and the second installment of Horizon Zero Dawn are released, assuming they live up to their billing. Also interested in seeing if Sony release the console and peripherals in different colours ... not a huge fan of the white aesthetic.
 
What's going on with cyberpunk? Is it just being released on PS4 and you can obv play on ps5 and then the 'real' ps5 version comes out later on disk?

Yep, basically. It might run better on ps5 at launch but the full ps5 update to take advantage of the hardware won't be until 2021, at some point.

Also, worry not those without a preorder.

It sounds to me like Cyberpunk 2077 PS5/XSX will have to wait until the main game and DLC are finished and released and then they will start on the "Enhanced Edition" for next-gen. May be even 2022.
 
Ah ok. Well I'm happy to wait, got enough to keep me going for years. Would rather wait and play the optimised version.
 
Just noticed there’s a button on the bottom actually, maybe that pops out the base to access the SSD? Either that or it just helps the base sit better? Maybe so it knows it’s orientation and adjusts cooling accordingly?

Highly doubt that's a button, looks like a rubber bumper - it'll be directly on top of the base when it's vertical. Probably to make sure there's a small gap where those vents are at the bottom (which definitely don't look like cooling vents, so probably don't need much airflow)
 
Also just noticed, the clip that is the extra bit on the base, not only clips onto the edge when the console is flat, but clips onto the very bottom (next to the power port) when it's vertical, to secure it to the base. Clever!
