IIRC you phone ordered rather than through the website? That fits the theory that the 58xxxxx number is assigned when the order is loaded into their internal/warehouse system, not the webstore, which is seemingly also when they generate the order recieved email. Possible the webstore orders didn't get synced up till after the website stopped having a meltdown.

Assuming they use the order time to do first come first served that just means you are another outlier along with some of us who didn't get an order number till we got an email today (that, or I hate you and curse your family, you know, one or the other).

@DEADMONSTOR any chance of a option/hidden section on the calculator to estimate via order time for us weirdos who not fit the system?

yeh i tried ordering on the site, but everytime i went from cart to payment the price changed.. so i called up! and they honoured the original listed price.

Yeah definitely odd, this is mine (in spoiler tag)... Which I placed online whilst the website was having a fit lol.

Maybe by phone it is allocating sooner, as it's probably placing it live direct on their database as the sales bloke placed your order. I bet the website's ordering system didn't sync back locally to their offices until later on with it getting hammered.

No idea if that has an effect on queue placement. I'm sure we can find out when the official tool goes live from OcUK. We'll check back in ;)

makes sense to me... an over whelming number of orders clog a automated system. causing it to fall so far behind. that placing a order manual via phone, was actually quicker. ? i would have just orderd online too if it didnt keep messing around.

From someone with a similar time as you, you can use this number for the time being. 58622XX that will work with the calculator and with the data that I have it sounds "about right" with the order numbers. I might try and make it so that you can generate this yourself soon on the calc if its needed

Reports I saw said it would take them a month catchup for for Germany Amazon, hardly Jan next year.

Shrugs. I read that zotac said they would have to cancel most of the orders and I was only going on one German customer who got his order email with estimated delivery of 21st January 2021.

According to EVGA it's just US stock anyway, just the XC3 model too.

Aaaaaand would you believe it, nothing for the EU store... :o (shock horror)

And what a surprise. They started this 4 years ago and every year they treat the UK like a backward 3rd world country. So glad I didnt order EVGA this time. The three months wait last time watching their twitter feed saying "Another 100 FTW cards arriving in US today and 200 more tomorrow" was enough to put me off them for life.

Hi there

For those asking about 3090 the stock situation shall be no better as such I’d not get your hopes up on getting one on launch, those who do shall be very lucky.

it’s fair to say volumes this month shall be very small to small for both 3080 and 3090.

Are Gigabyte Eagle models still dripping through this week Gibbo?

Hoping to make the next batch. :)
