im excited for my card too, but it really is funny watching people **** the bed over the idea of having to wait 2-3 months for a luxury purchase elite GPU like they're suffering the biggest, most tortuous indignity in the world, when we're in a period where untold people have lost their jobs and businesses and we're heading into an utterly miserable winter. People would be doing themselves a massive favour by getting a bit of perspective. You'd think they were 7 years old and their new xmas toy didn't have batteries

Ignore the people telling you that you are wrong/the only one. There are at least a handful of others who have posted in the topic, myself included, whose order number was clearly only generated when their email was sent. But we are in the minority, so for most people the queue calculator is probably no more inaccurate than it was before.

From having read every single post in this topic most people have numbers that were generated in the correct order, including a good number who didn't get their email till later, but there are also a numbe rof us who either ordered over the phone in the first few hours, and have an earlier number than their order time would indicate, and some of us who didn't get any emails until later and based on the order number weren't logged into the internal system till then (mine starts 587 desite being a 15:16 on the 17th order, when the numbers were still in 586... based on how similar my time is to you it might have been the same bit of the system our orders were held up in).

Hopefully once the official queue system comes up it'll be clear they are going by order time, not number, but if not there are enough of us that I'm sure we'll be able to get OC's attention and get it fixed.

[EDIT] Oh and @DEADMONSTOR kindly let me know that 58622XX is the area of order numbers that were being used when I ordered, so bump that by a hundred or two and you might be able to get a more accurate guess from the estimator. The graphs really were shooting up at that points based on the numbers in the spreadsheet

@Gibbo Hi Gibbo, just wanted to ask, I have placed an order for the 3080 using the Hitachi BNPL option. I haven’t had an email confirming and the order status is saying new order, awaiting payment status. Does this mean you are just waiting for Hitachi to pay you before confirming order?
 
okay so i've ordered a evga xc3 ultra but by the looks of things evga will probably stock the entire usa before they stock the europeon,
Do i risk canceling and ordering a card hoping it isnt popular or wait.
God i love evga for block support and warranty but feel like i've messed up big time i was a second from going palit but went evga i did go for the evga xc3 ultra thinking it might be less popular but it seem if you went evga you are going to be screwed anyway.
i'll still be waiting for a block to be made but still kinda sucks dropping this much money to probably wait till someone at evga goes owww i guess we can send the eu some cards now
There twitter is pretty bad there adding stock on there site yet if you ask about eu shipments they reply "NA stock" or not at all

There have been 3 anomalous order numbers compared to order times in this thread so far including yours.

It looks like a few orders got hung in the internal system with all the crashes etc. A mass of people finally received their confirmation emails late after the internal system caught up
but they already had a valid order number which matched order time from the Out of Stock email from Thursday/Friday.

Yours and the two others were hung in system and therefore received a later time order number.

I think the others have already talked to OC and been assured there order time will take precedence.

You best contact CS I remember over hearing a staff member saying because so many people selected finance that the finance company thought their was a security issue due to volume of finance request in a 24hr period so best to contact CS for an update on that please.

Is it worth ordering the newly added cards, or is there tonne of orders already. Im stuck on an evga order

funnily enough, that's half the reason i ordered a 3080. i used to freelance in an office environment with its own render nodes. now i'm trying to go it alone as a graphic animator and will need a beefy GPU to do hardware rendering (paired hopefully with a zen III cpu).
