Not for nothing, guys, but _most of us_ ordered on "the day of launch" (Thursday), and if you hadn't noticed pretty much everywhere is out of stock.

Polygon, you may have some luck providing your order number to the unofficial queue estimator (please note that it's not expecting to be accurate, just interesting) - though that won't help if there's no stock. It was said, in the post that we've all been e-mailed a link to, that there may be some Strix OC stock delivered "late this week". But we have no idea if that's 5 cards on Friday, or 2 cards on Sunday. In either case, you may be out of luck for a little while.

Lee, ... yeah man, just read the thread? Any of the threads? Or the news? Again, most of us managed to "purchase" it on the day. Thousands, even. On this site alone. You'll have more luck going to the site above with your order number and card-ordered which might give you an idea of where in a theoretical (inaccurate) queue you are - but won't have any idea about when cards will come in to fulfil those orders ahead of you.

The gigabyte Aorus cards won’t be available until some time in October, maybe November
 
What we need is a bit of Clarity from OCUK so people instead of taking the chances of waiting for 2, 3 months they can just cancel their orders or not. a pre-order without an ETA isn't fair at all.

I can only hope thats correct.

We do know that the earliest order number we have seen is around 5860140 (though I think that might have been from a phone order), and orders at around 2am were in the 5870xxx range, and by 10:30am the next morning in the area of 58733xx. It seems fairly safe that at least in the first 12 hours (site was crashing, then it was the middle of the night) there weren't many non-3080 orders, so that seems about 10k at least, and while there might have been a small rush of non-3080 orders the next morning from people who were determined to buy something that failed the night before, I think that 12-13k in the first 20 hours or so seems probably assuming their order system increments fairly linearly, and that isn't even taking account of people like me who had an order on the site when it was struggling (15:16 on the 17th) but have a much later order number 58738xx than the model we've put together would expect, presumably due to issues with they servers syncing up orders. No way to know how many people fit in that group.

You're probably right there. They should probably stop taking pre-orders for the cards with zero ETA or ones with very high pre-order numbers.
 
Hi, I have my zotac on order got it about half three on the Thursday. I didn’t really know where to ask this because I’m new to this forum but if I’m upgrading my motherboard, psu and cpu will I be able to use my hard drives and ssd that I have already in my pc in my new build?

I’m also switching from a rx580 to a 3080 so I’ll need to get rid of the drivers but I’m sure I’ve heard of a program you can download where it wipes the old drivers off, does anyone know the name I can’t remember.

Let me know if you need anymore information about my build.
