I ended up getting 3 orders in 2 at OC and 1 at a competitor, Got my Gigabyte OC 3080 yesterday from the competitor payed more than i should have but meh im happy and the performance is insanely fast, cancelled my OC pre orders but was very annoyed with the lack of ETA from OC over the weekend. They should be giving people a official que number and ETA it's not really acceptable since they take money straight out of your account even for pre orders.

If you're ordering multiple cards and see what comes quickest, that's taking up places in the queue and uneccessarily inflating figures.

That's a pretty dick move imo.

At least in the UK it's possible. I managed to some how get a FE order in during the chaos last Thursday and Nvidia UK/digital river delivered it the next day at about 10am. Wasn't even expecting it since the dispatch email only arrived about 3 hours before it actually got delivered.

The tough part is actually getting an order for the FE though I suppose.
WOW nice. i will keep an eye out on their site for a card. Thanks

Definitely happy to wait to get FE card now after all these issues with the 3rd party cards and the reviews showing them a little bit slower! prob a good job Nvidia don't let you pre order and only have them in stock we you can accually order them and get it next day!

Personally I'd disagree simply because look what happened, no pre order, no prices form most retailers other than we know who and look how long that lasted, People were getting ripped off left right and centre with the B***S*** that was first allocation and raising prices at checkout, Absolute disgusting behaviour if you ask me, The next time there is no pre order I won't be ordering on launch day because you'll get ripped off again.

It's very silent today in terms of information and updates and was yesterday, wasn't an official queue supposed to be coming? Stock updates? I imagine a lot of people are starting to wonder what OC are doing behind the scenes?

I guess there's either no news, or things are extremely busy behind the scenes... probably both. All we can do is sit tight and wait

Preparing for the 3090 launch tomorrow so things go better than they did last Thursday maybe?

Knew I would have problems with this, bought from another retailer and order dispatched. Yodel doing Yodelling things - driver said he either forgot to load my package or another driver loaded it when delivering to me today so I have to wait until tomorrow morning. Knowing my luck the delivery driver has 'lost' the package lol.

We didn't hear from Gibbo until late yesterday, might be the same today

So I'm like somewhere in the 600s in the queue for the MSI Gaming 3080, couldn't get the order through until 15:29 after waiting from 14:00 to get through but the site kept dying. Hoping I get that at some point in October but my hope keeps dying every day. Just wanted to ask, for my system, I currently have a Ryzen 5 3600x on an x570 mb with a 5700xt and I have Corsair RM750x PSU (750W), is that PSU going to be enough to handle the 3080 in my system, or do I need to upgrade it before it arrives? I can't find a definitive answer.
Thanks in advance.

Should probably be focusing on meeting current orders instead of keeping preorders up for 3080s though, I get that the 3090 is launching tomorrow but why are OC the only site still taking preorders for the 3080 when they have no idea about stock? Or are OC more in the know than any other retailer around?

Should be OK. The recommend PSU wattage from Nvidia is 750w so there isnt any reason to assume it wont work.

How many extra internal drives etc do you have? As long as you haven't crammed the PC with devices it should be fine.

Thanks, I knew it was on the borderline of recommended but the 3 8-pin connectors threw me off, making me think it needed more power than the others.

Anyone wondering about Palit cards, according to Palit support, there will be a shipment of GamingPro and OC models arriving in the UK next week. They didn't mention if OCUK was included as a recipient but it's understandable as I explicitly told them I was a consumer so that was likely sensitive info to just randomly tell people when and where specific shipments are going, but I'm definitely praying OCUK will be receiving some of this shipment. And in their words "it's not a large batch". I didn't want to bother them any further than I already have so I didn't ask them to clarify what that means in terms of numbers but I hope it means I can get the Pro OC by next week.

And as requested, I have tagged you in: @Raheem when I received word.

Under the assumption that OCUK will be receiving some of the OC shipment too, I don't think I'll be using an intermediary GPU and I'll stick with my HD graphics for now.
