I could ask "what more do you want", but that's really all we're going to get for the moment. Patience will be required.

Well, I was told that an ETA or queue position system would be this week... and nothing.
By November, the 3080 20gb will be available to order... it would be stupid to wait for the 10gb and that one only be a few more weeks behind it.

pre order for february maybe :D

What card did you order? I've not seen anything about Gigabyte cards, and Gigabyte themselves have been very quiet about when they will ship more stock.
If its looking November onwards, there's no way I'll keep my order live. I paid upfront for a card that was advertised as 'in stock around 23rd sept". So, going off that, there should have been a delivery, or about to be one?
I went for an Asus strix OC. I knew mine wasn’t in stock when I placed my pre order so I suppose I was always ready to be waiting a while, I think I’ll keep mine live, I’m sure it will arrive at some point.

Plus knowing my luck I’d cancel it and they’d have a batch arrive haha

I'll try, it was around 100 pages back so might be a little tough to find it! The unofficial queue shows me at 4, so if there really has been a few shipments of Zotac's in and even the guy earlier who's order went through at 14:03 is still waiting then something just doesn't make sense.
Might have been me... a user had said in the owners thread that they were no.13 in the unofficial queue when they got their card. I know I was at 6 at that time (14.05 order)

I'd also noticed there's not a lot of chatter around the Gigabyte cards, and I also ordered on the assumption there were some in stock with more to follow on the 23rd, pretty bad craic if that's never been the case :(

Yeah seems more and more to me they are not dispatching based on order time but something else.... seems random if people who ordered the Ventus at 14:50 or 15:15 got their card and a bunch of us who ordered before are still waiting.

Who ordered at those times and got? 'cause I wanna play my Doubt card on that... My time was 14:38 btw and I've heard nothing... from what I've seen they're only as far as 14:30ish on orders but I might have missed something

When I ordered (15:08) the Gigabyte Gaming OC was still showing the 23rd ETA, fingers crossed they get some in this week or early next.

What the point to launch 3070 after the 3080/3090? I assume that there are different teams working on those - but, if they can't meet demand of 3080 or 3090 which are worth more, it's feels like a proper "business plan" by Nvidia )))) I assume it was like: there will be only 1000 customers for the card, okay, let's make 100, just to make sure that we are solid. ))))

They should consider it.. I'd get a card and would free up a ventus for those in the queue behind
Mate RMA cards are classified as new order so you know and

That what happens when demand is 50xsupply

Because its a PR lie and they are price gouging like all other UK retailers. Manufacereurs are not putting up prices just because of demand.....

It’s more than just fluctuating exchange rates. Bear in mind that OC, just like any other retailer, also pay shipping costs. When thousands and thousands are coming across by ship freight, that cost is negligible and can easily be absorbed. When they’re having to pay air freight costs for tiny amounts, those costs can’t be absorbed and have to be passed on to the consumer. One the big ships start arriving then hopefully prices will ease, even if only a little...

the sad reality is many of these big retailers only recieved about 100 cards total. so you have 10,000 plus fighting for 100 cards. this is going to go on for months. nvidia is to blame for launching early with no stock i think they just wanted to get stuff out before amd do.
