Hey guys, just thought of another scenario, imagine if AMD do knock it out the park with their next announcement, 28th October I believe, only few weeks. I imagine if they do there will be a massive influx of 3080 cancellations, hell I might even cancel if Big Navi is anything close to it's rumoured leaks so far.
Imagine if amd do the business before the 3080s find their pre order homes and get cancelled.
There could be egg on lots of faces.

But we know amd won't deliver in time for this

There is no hope at the end of the tunnel of any sort of delivery date...
It's only a few weeks before the Big Navi comes and definitely, they have a stronger inventory.
Also, Black Friday is just around the corner + the Stock situation will be better.

This is only a card, It is not food or air and such desperation!
Nvidia has been successful to play on our post lockdown minds.
For me it's more of the fact that minus several hundreds of pounds has left my account and not having what I'm meant to show for it leaves me anxious at times lol.

We had 14 Zotac in stock, so you must have unfortunately missed out, if you wish to cancel then for sure email the address that is in the sticky thread for express cancellations.
However we are expecting more Zotac 3090 to ship from Hong Kong on September 29th so be with ourselves first week of November, think it is 10 units so maybe drop a post in CS requesting your queue position, but be patient as the CS guys are getting 1000's of request.

Gibbo is now recommending we post in the Customer Service section to find out our queue position, just FYI

Then cancel until you find one in stock, they’ve mentioned countless times they don’t have much stock

hahaha, I think I'm going to hold onto my order ;P my order no was a 5860XXX so decently early so I'ma see how it goes :D

According to the unofficial thingy I'm 10th the last time I looked with 58602XX. If none are due till next week I can probably stop refreshing this forum

That was a recommendation to one guy, if you all start posting they will simply not be answered as there is not the time, IT are still working on an official queue system generator.

It's not good for mental health, because I am waking up every morning to see Gibbo's posts.. and even before sleep, I am seeing just the forum!
Please Lord Gaben, intervene and save us!!!

Whoops, I jumped the gun on that so. Just eager for information. Feel free to delete my thread from the CS forum :)

Okay thanks I'll take a look - I ordered the OC anyway (Kind of thought it was a solid battle plan as people would typically snap up the more affordable cards first haha)

Same idea i thought, plus wanted that extra clock speed :D anyways if they will start only supply with 28, i can rest for now and see what will happen at that time.

You are the very problem that is being addressed in this thread. You have somehow managed to purchase three lots of a product that is in huge demand with not enough supply and you're inflating the price for your own gain. It's frowned upon, I don't care how you try to justify it, it's wrong in the court of public opinion.

I hope that if you purchased from OcUK, this gets picked up and your order cancelled in some form.

@Gibbo
In this particular case I think it doesn't matter. His friends bought it from him, and if they don't mind then it's fine. Maybe that's the premium they pay for having him do the work. The inflation of price is not an issue as price will normalise eventually and it's not the official stores that are inflating the price (atleast to that degree). The problem would be when a considerable amount of stocks get depleted using means inaccessible to many so that others can't even buy it.

It'd be different if he used bots to buy 20 cards and then sell it to randoms on eBay.
