Nobody ever really wants to wait. Sometimes you just have to wait. There's always someone waiting for something. I just feel thankful I'm waiting on something like this and not news from a biopsy or a loved one's surgery. Some people need a bit of perspective I think.

I am not saying I don't want to wait. I am saying I would like information. Seems only fair when a company has taken your money for a product that they give regular updates on things, but we have had next to nothing in terms of info. Surely they, as one of the UK's leading suppliers of gfx cards, are getting more than they are giving us. And even if not it wouldn't hurt them to tell us so. I don't mean individually, but one or two daily comprehensive updates on the forums and social media would take minutes only

I can be as patient as the next man... But the lack of clarity and information is what's making this whole process painstakingly difficult and frustrating!

I was awake at 6:15... agonizingly close. Annoying how UK stock particularly appears to be very poor and horribly communicated.
Me too. Although I'm not actively looking I'd take one if I happened across one.

One thing I have noticed is there was a notify me on their site. So I've signed up, it isn't there now though...

This wouldn't have been as bad if they just did it like the console launches. Have the 17th be the pre-order date with the cards to actually release on a specific date in November

You're not wrong. I do think even if they don't know they should at least say so for each variety, so people can make an informed decision. I've heard next to nowt on the Eagles.

If all these options are equally as bad for them they should then at least tell us the truth. Truth will set you free!

But that's are what they doing, as well as can be expected given hinted-at NDA's and not wanting to give any details to competitors? It's all in the sticky thread.

Even if they'd set the preorder a month or two ago would be better than this then they could have had an idea about number and demand beforehand. Nvidia are the real villains here imo.

These cards (3080, 3090) they coming with free game...? Cant see it on website...

They removed it from the website because it is not certain that everyone ordering could use the offer under Nvidia's terms, and it required more codes to be delivered by Nvidia than they had received.

The offer requires that you redeem the code before the end of November and you cannot redeem without actually having the card, and they only had 1,000 codes from Nvidia anyway.

Now, they should be able to get more codes, but it would be irresponsible to continue to advertise the offer when they can't be sure that new orders now are going to be delivered before the end of November...

Do you guys think its worth getting a temporary GPU at the moment? Not really sure where I'd even get one and how much I should spend on it. I am around number 55 on the queue for an Eagle which was promising last week as Gigabyte got some cards early to OCUK but now seems to have grinded to a halt.

dont expect any Eagles until the 30th at the earliest

I'd rather just be told: you're not getting this card in the next 60days or so. I could use that money elsewhere and buy at later date. When I purchased this card it said that the ETA for it is 23rd of September. That was obviously not truth. Also, regarding NDA - are they now above the law? Can't customers no longer what is happening to the product they paid so much money for? This is not a pair of socks...

Also, all I have are these rants at the moment.

Well, I don't know when you ordered or what you ordered, but it will probably take a while (like at least a month, since it sounds like it will take at least that long for stock to start coming in in quantity, but possibly much longer depending on when and what you ordered). That much should be obvious if you look at the shipping numbers in the sticky thread so far. It's not just the UK that needs to be supplied, it's a world wide demand, and the Chinese have a holiday coming up as well that'll slow things down.

NDA's ... I don't know what clout nVidia may have regarding that, but according to Gibbo there's things he can't say (maybe at the cost of his business relationship with them, don't know).
