Is your estimated queue number unique to the card ordered or your place with everyone counted? I'm apparently only 201 and I didn't order till the 20th. I ordered a Palit, if so had no idea they were so unpopular.

For that particular card its probably in the hundreds, theres a couple thousand orders total between all variants of 3080. No one really knows how long you'll be waiting but December would be optimistic

For cards to be in stock, all the pre-orders have to be shipped. If you have double the money of the Aorus Master, you can pre-order one here and hold the other half for the happy moment when you might see it at your local reseller. And if you see it there, you cancel your pre-order and get your money back. With the pre-order you also get a warranty on the price.

Maybe not actually wait till any are in stock, since there will be others doing that, but keep an eye on what people are posting about queue position and shipments over the next weeks/months, and when it looks like something you like is catching up get an order in then. Doubt it'll actually slow your order down much, and that way you keep your money in your bank for longer.

Some sound advice there. Thank you. I think I’ll order one but keep an eye out elsewhere just in case it pops up sooner. Hadn’t thought about the price changes going forward....but the £80 price hike an hour or so b4 launch kinda put me off on the launch day....I knew the cards were going to be popular...but this launch is just nuts :eek:

It's unique to the card you ordered. I suspect there's been a lot more orders on Palit given that OCUK have already had some in and the numbers for them are low. I think a lot of people don't like the look of the card. Doesn't bother me in the slightest as it'll be lying sideways anyway. Also doesn't seem to be much in the way of issues reported with the Palit cards. Quite a few issues with others regarding black screens and crashes.

Palit cards ordered around 4:30 went out during the week while other people ordered different cards in the first 20 minutes and are still waiting. They dont seem too popular

Theyre seen as more of a budget brand, though they have had some pretty good coolers in the last few years. But they only have 2 year warranty.

Thanks, I know it's not accurate but if I'm even top 500 I'll take it considering I sat wrestling with myself wether or not to buy for 3 days being tight.
Will be my third Palit card all have been really good, from what I've read allot of the problems people are having are with the out of the box OC'd cards or are they all having issues?

I'm not sure if it's specific to the OC cards but downclocking/undervolting them seems to sort it.

I ordered the day before and am only about 40 places in front of you. I'd be fairly confident that no more than 400 Palit's sold by COB on Sunday. Most likely less than that.
 
Competitors can display their expected delivery schedule, OCUK don't seem to be able to?

After several days OCUK still cannot give you a official wait list position!

Not really feeling that impressed sadly, even the sticky for updates has very little basic info other than drip feed after customers have already confirmed new dispatches.

Please, put more effort in!
