I bought a strix none oc at 14:37 I know im lower in the list as the DOCS shows the percentage and time people bought cards but im probs gonna be waiting a while as don't think asus has even shipped the strix cards yet xd

You be patient when waiting for your tea, not when you have shelled £700+ and have no delivery date or even information of when you may receive your item that is already paid for! They are not doing you a favour we are doing them a favour by buying from them.

Cancel and get a refund if you are unhappy.
 
Just cancelled my EVGA GAMING 3080 so people have moved one up on that cue. Good luck.

Had some luck myself today grabbing a Ps5 and got 4 games so will jump back to console for a year or so and sell off the remaining pc and build new again in the summer. Have fun waiting everyone!

No, the price will then have returned to normal RRP at that point. The cryptic date reference is the day before AMD launch big navi and nVidia are going to be horribly embarrased if they still can't fulfil rtx orders by that point and AMD performance is on a par with theirs.

Given that the sites domain appears to have only been registered 3 days ago, perhaps consider cancelling that PayPal payment!

Yeah, it sucks. Its like the blame game for lack of information. I know the 3080 Strix non OC is last on their list 3080 cards with them focusing on TUF>TUFOC>STRIXOC>STRIX. According to the very first post OC were expecting the OC Strix in late this week, i'm guessing by the reply from the ASUS rep suggesting delays that inst happening but no response from OC. You have ASUS telling PCgamer contact etailers to get more info and then etrailers turn around and saying we aint got no info. You've got ASUS USA giving info away on facebook but not being able to comment on markets. ASUS UK social media platforms silent everything 3080 related and the ASUS rep on here saying sorry were trying but not giving any solid information.

sucks cause not a lot of people bought the strix compared to the others brands guessing its cause of the price just hope I get one next month my rtx2070 strix will have to do :}
 
Alright so after seeing these issues with capacitors causing crashes to desktop and such im wondering if this is only for people overclocking the cards? i have no intention of Oc'ing my own card so will it still be a problem?

Some cards come factory OC'd and some are just gpu boosting and causing it to happen. Its not hard to downclock it yourself to stop the issue from occuring, in fact if you want to save electricity theres guides to undervolt it 100 watts and you only lose 3~5 fps.

May need to under volt the card. I'm hoping this is just a driver issue and not the hardware!
