And you ordered from Ek direct ? that's odd it could be that i had to speak to support via email as i forgot to order the back plate and they had to add to my order. But who knows why you didn't get the same email like i did. you could always open a ticket and ask
An fair enough. I ordered a whole load of other bits I needed too. I might just ask them anyway!

cheers for the info!

ASUS GEFORCE RTX 3090 ROG STRIX GAMING OC 24GB GDDR6X PCI-EXPRESS GRAPHICS CARD
I know I am way down the list...But time to wait :)

Hi all, Just seen the spreadsheet for 3090 tracking. was a little annoyed as I had Strix oc in basket at 13.58 but credit card payment page kept crashing on me until I finally got through at 14.16:00. How do I add my information there?

24th Sept 2020 @ 2.14pm
OC4045521 - 3090 Strix OC

My Gigabyte 3090 Gaming OC arrived on Saturday afternoon, Haribo included, no issues since. It's replacing a 1080, so a definite step up for me, finally I can enjoy my LG 38GL950G without compromises. Feel free to update the spreadsheet to confirmed.

Great bit of kit :)

I will be coming from Pascal as well.

I really wish I pre-ordered through ****** or Scan, so my friend who has a preorder through ****** was in contact with the chat advisor. He gave his order number which is for a Asus 3090 Strix OC (of coarse it is !) , She said they will be fulfilling orders up until November.

However depending on the time the order was placed they have some stock which is available now and they will email this week regarding delivery, his order time is 14:01 by the way.

Me being the genius I am (Sarcasm) I placed an order through Overclockers (Been burned in the past with messed up orders). At least other websites provide a time frame, now I'm stuck.

Anyways Love this thread and the discussion it makes the wait easier, especially when I am stuck inside and cant go to work.

I thought everybody knew by now that your card wasnt coming sometime before the end of November depending when your order went through?

I am sure Gibbo said the they are only arriving in small numbers each delivery which is defined as between 10 and 50 until you get to the end of October and then numbers will ramp up considerably.

He also said only those people with ordered before 2.04pm are likely to see their cards before end of September, before 3pm end of October, before 4pm November and unknown there after.

I also know from what Scan have posted is that their entire allocation of oc strix stock to the end of November is what they sold on pre order before they pulled the plug on orders but just like ocuk they only expect dribs and drabs until November so the vast majority of their 500 pre orders arent likely to be fulfilled until November.

I had several windows opened on several sites and I knew that unless you managed to check out in the first few minutes then it would just be a case of waiting until November (or you might get lucky and it comes early)

My order date varies from some of the payment e-mails I received but the best time was 1:56:59. Now hurry up and give me my rog strix OC already!

I ordered Strix OC at 14:06 from Scan and had a confirmation email saying expected delivery 29th September. I checked with them today and they advised that refers to restocking date, not delivery date of my specific order. So I asked if they could give me an indication of when I was likely to get my order fulfilled. They said based on the order time, it would likely be after the next 1-2 deliveries. Hopefully that translates into 2-3 weeks for me. It might help some of you 'guestimate' when you might get yours relative to the time of my order.

btw. Why so many order the OC version of the Strix instead of the standard? The only benefit I see is that you don't have to manually change the clock yourself - but being that this is an overclockers forum I find the ratio really surprising.

I guess a lot of people not aware they are the same card perhaps? I deliberately chose the non-OC version because overclocking is half the fun!

Quite a few people thought that the oc version would be in less demand and so would get it quicker.

If they have been able to factory OC the cards then that 100% guarantees you don't have to play the lottery and hope for a stable card, because ASUS already did it

They’re binned identically. The non-OC version is EXACTLY the same. The only difference is they put the card through one additional stage — to turn up the clocks slightly. There is no ‘lottery with one, no lottery with the other’. They are identical.

Personally I looked on a website that happens to list how many people are watching/looking at an item and noticed that there was twice as many looking at the OC version..so I chose the non OC version hoping that it would give me a better chance. They are not binned any differently - and I think most would be very disappointed with having the OC version as the only clock they can achieve as it is so conservative.
