Tomorrow is 2 weeks since I ordered my Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC. I hope tomorrow (or later today for the Brits) I am given some idea where I stand and at least a ballpark of when I can expect it.

The real pain for me is I cant play new games before I get my TUF OC, that would be a waste if not playing with the new card.

I can't play any game now . I sold my gtx 1080 to get rtx 3080. If I know before that OC is getting 10-30 of rtx 3080 every few days, I wouldn't sell my old gpu. I thought I will get new one in short time. Now I have mobile games only.

Ill be shoving it in the Alienware amplifier, over a PCI-e cable and playing runescape on the M15 with it at 1080p, mad maybe but meh lol

So when it come ill have to deal with a hot as sin I7 8750H + 1070 Max Q! while making billions on runescape and burning those high scores slower! rank 1,191 total on RS good game

And if it dont work in the external GPU box ill stick it in my Thread ripper 1920x build

And side note i'm going choppy choppy on the amp to make it fit! CRAZY!!!

Did a Webnote to OCUK pre launch didn't get a reply I don't think anyone knows if a 3080 RTX will work in the Alienware amplifier

I'm planning to do the same and use it with my m15r2. I seriously have my doubts that it'll work but fingers crossed.

Zen 3 info is going to tide me over this weekend till we get an official update methinks. I'll def be looking to upgrade my I7 6700K to make better use of my (eventual) 3080.
